Cancel culture is loud.
Book bans are everywhere.
Everywhere I look, people are pulling books off shelves, and pretending that canceling ideas makes them disappear.
I don’t buy it.
If one of my books ever gets banned, I’ll take it as proof that I wrote something real. Something that mattered enough to make someone uncomfortable. That’s not failure. That’s the point.
I don’t write safe stories. I don’t write to make you comfortable. My books aren’t here to be easy. They’re here to push, to provoke, to make you feel things you don’t want to feel. To make you love what you shouldn’t, to hate what you don’t understand, to see humanity in all its brutal, messy truth.
That’s why this library exists. Because stories that make people squirm are the ones most worth saving.
